What is our Paideia/Homeschool Partnership program?
Many parents would love for their children to have a Christian, classical education.
Perhaps things like work, time, or lack of expertise are preventing them from being able to do that.
We can help by partnering with you in a way that serves your family.
What Does Paideia Look Like?
For young students at the grammar stage, this includes the basics of English grammar, writing, spelling, and mathematics.
For middle grades students at the logic stage, this includes finishing formation as needed from the grammar stage, plus both informal and formal logic.
For our older students, this includes the study of rhetoric, in order that they might write and speak well.
Two Models to Serve You:
Full Paideia: Mornings, Monday through Friday, the Good Shepherd School project can help provide that basic paideia – the foundational reading, history, philosophy and theology that underlies a good education, presented at an age-appropriate level.
University Model Paideia: Partner with our program, spending 2 mornings on campus and 3 at home with a classical program that we provide, and through which we help you nurture your students. To choose this program, simply mark the application for full-time homeschool partnership and put “University Model” in the additional comments.
Our Paideia programs, whether full-time of University model, are foundational educational programs. Paideia students are encouraged to take advantage of our Atrium classes in the afternoons to expand their learning and participate more fully in our community.
